The first day we were there we counted 42 species of birds - most of which none of us had ever seen outside a zoo. The most spectacular bird was the Jabiru - a bird the size of a human, standing over 5 feet tall with a wingspan of 8 - 9 feet.
When I started this blog I was on my way to becoming Nana for the first time. Between then and now a total of 12 great kids have joined that group. Keeping track of everyone has become a challenge - and a fun one. With so many things to do, places to go, and sights to see, I still need a place to share once and a while. Maybe not as often as I could or should, but maybe that's OK, if someone just knows where I am every few months or so. Happy living!!
