After the team measured and weighed all the animals, Alexine took our pictures holding the youngest one, who she estimated to be about 4 months old.
The adults are much larger, about the size of a fat beagle or other hound dog. They eat only fruit and roots from the forest. They also only have one offspring per year and mate for life.
When I started this blog I was on my way to becoming Nana for the first time. Between then and now a total of 12 great kids have joined that group. Keeping track of everyone has become a challenge - and a fun one. With so many things to do, places to go, and sights to see, I still need a place to share once and a while. Maybe not as often as I could or should, but maybe that's OK, if someone just knows where I am every few months or so. Happy living!!
